The college has central library facility right from the beginning of the college i.e. 1950. The library is enriched with 48353 books which includes some 15000 unique titles. Library subscribes to 120 periodicals which includes 55 peer reviewed research journals including international status.
Library possesses highly valuable volumes of which are most sought after by faculty and researchers like Wealth of India, Encyclopedia of Britannica, Illustrated Science and Future, The series of popular Sci., Year Books Sci & Future, McGraw Hill Encyclopedia, Series of Scientific American, Systematic Bacteriology, Encyclopedia of Science and Technology, The international Wild life encyclopedia, Realm of life, Vistas of Botany etc.
To cater to the needs of a large number of researchers specially Ph.D. Scholars separate periodical section has been developed and housed with latest copies of research journals and 2200 Back Volumes from different disciplines of basic and applied sciences. Rare and old collection of back volumes includes Botanical Review (1935-1952; 1964-1977) , Mycology (1666-1976 ), Journal of Indian Botanical Society (1953 -1979 ), Scientific American (1964 – to date), Zoological Society of India (1960), Journal of Scientific and Industrial research (1953 – to date), Journal of Indian Mathematical Society(1960 -1967), Annals of Applied Biology (1656-1967), Current Science ( 1958 to date) Indian Academy of sciences (1953 1957 &1971-1980)
E – resources : Besides books collection in conventional /Printed forms e- resources are also added steadily since last 5 years. Budget provision is made for the development of e-resources. E-resources includes CDs, DVDs, Floppy etc. Present status of e-collection in our library in different subject is reached 164. Recently library has enrolled its name for the subscription of on selected journals and books from “NLIST” sponserd by the INFLIBNET, Ahmedabad. This facility includes 2100 highly research based journals and 51000 books.
In general on each year about 1900 -2100 members enroll theirs names to avail library services. It includes Students, Faculty, Research Scholars, Administrative Staff, Members of sister institution and occasional faculties of other colleges in the region.
Library is organized in following sections.
Further books are arranged separately like Text /Subject reference books General Reference books, Languages/Literatures Books, Books on personality development, Current Periodicals, Photo album sec etc.
Includes the Librarian, one Library Asst, Five Attendants and two supportive staff members are in the library.
Library uses DDC system for classification of books and AACR –II for Cataloguing. Class Numbers are updated as per the need specially for new growing branches in the subject.

In order to inculcate reading habits specially among students, to maximize the use of library contents, help them to develop their overall personality and strengthen the healthy relations between library staff and students library has initiated following best practices.
Exhibition of books on birth anniversaries of great leaders, Involvement of library staff in NSS activities and Republic Day celebration and Blood Donation Camps
Library has installed SOUL software in the year 2003-04. Bar-coding work of all documents has been completed by the end of the year 2006 and library has started functioning in SOUL. Ours is the first computerized library in the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. In Nanded District.
